About the Role
WeTravel is looking for an experienced Account Manager Team Lead to join our growing team. In this role, you'll combine hands-on client relationship management with people leadership — guiding a small team of LATAM Account Managers while maintaining your own portfolio of strategic clients.
What You'll Do
Manage a focused portfolio of larger clients, driving year-over-year Net Gross Payment Revenue growth of 120%+ Lead, mentor, and develop a team of up to 4+ Account Managers — running regular 1:1s, supporting career growth, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture Serve as the primary point of escalation for both internal teams and external clients Deliver exceptional customer service across your own accounts and support your team in doing the same Partner cross-functionally with internal teams; lead product trainings and AM team meetings as needed Generate and analyze reports on team performance, account metrics, and KPIs to surface trends and inform strategic decisions What We're Looking For 2-3+ years of experience in an Account Management lead or managerial role, with a demonstrated track record of consistently hitting 100% of targets year over year Strong customer service and communication skills Proven ability to manage large account portfolios Leadership experience and a genuine interest in developing others Solid project management skills Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal (bonus points for other languages—list them on your resume!)
