Ad Creative Strategist (Paid Media)

Position Overview: 215 Marketing is seeking an Ad Creative Strategist who combines expertise in creative strategy, production, and performance optimization within paid media advertising. This role is responsible for owning and elevating the creative output across all paid advertising accounts, with a focus on driving measurable results through high-performing ad creative. This position plays a critical role in improving campaign performance across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and YouTube by developing, producing, and iterating on ad creatives that are engineered to convert—not just designed to look good. The ideal candidate has proven experience creating paid ad creative, thrives in fast-paced, high-output environments, and understands how to translate performance data into actionable creative improvements. This is not a traditional design role or brand-focused creative position. This is a performance-driven role where success is measured by the impact creative has on advertising results. The ideal candidate understands how to produce high volumes of creative efficiently while continuously improving performance through testing and iteration. Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience creating paid ad creative (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
  • 2+ years of experience producing both static and video ad assets
  • Experience working in a performance marketing agency or DTC brand environment
  • Strong understanding of paid media performance metrics (CTR, CPA, conversions, etc.)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and maintain high creative output
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects) or equivalent
  • Strong video editing and storytelling capabilities
  • Experience collaborating with media buyers and/or performance teams
  • Ability to function autonomously, be self-directed, and highly organized
  • Excellent attention-to-detail
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities / Role:

  • Develop high-performing ad concepts, hooks, and messaging angles based on campaign goals
  • Determine appropriate creative formats (UGC, motion, static, etc.) for each campaign
  • Design and produce ad creatives across image and video formats
  • Create short-form video content optimized for paid social platforms
  • Build and maintain scalable frameworks for creative production across multiple accounts
  • Develop clear creative briefs and direction for campaigns
  • Establish and enforce quality standards for ad creative output
  • Work directly with media buyers to review performance and identify optimization opportunities
  • Analyze performance data to identify winning creative patterns and trends
  • Rapidly iterate on existing creatives and produce new variations based on performance insights
  • Ensure consistency and quality of creative output across all client accounts
  • Act as the central creative resource for paid media initiatives

Compensation:

  • $30 - 40 per hour (depending on experience)
