As an Editor, you will combine your language skills and subject-area expertise to help researchers around the globe publish cutting-edge research in prestigious journals. Job Responsibilities Critically review and edit AI-assisted/processed manuscripts to ensure that the final text is scientifically clear, coherent, publication-ready, and written in standard academic English Add editorial value beyond grammar and surface-level corrections by improving clarity, sentence-level flow, logical consistency, readability, and overall manuscript quality while preserving the author’s intended meaning and scientific accuracy Exercise editorial judgment to identify gaps, inconsistencies, unclear interpretations, awkward phrasing, and missed issues that may persist in pre-edited manuscripts Ensure that all subject-specific conventions, terminology, and style requirements are consistently followed Adhere to job-specific guidelines and format manuscripts according to target journal requirements when applicable, while meeting the turnaround time across assigned manuscripts Qualifications and Prerequisites Bachelor's/Master's/PhD degree in Medicine Excellent English proficiency and attention to detail (prior editing experience would be great) Benefits of this Role Flexibility to decide when you work Receive a predictable volume of work each month Develop an understanding of the finer points of editing and gain access to articles and tips on our learning and discussion platform Get an inside view of research carried out worldwide Application Process If you have a passion for enhancing research communication and expertise in one or more of our specialized subject areas, join us in making a profound impact on the global academic community.
