Associate General Counsel
Job Requirements Associate General Counsel The position may be based at our Franklin, TN corporate office on a hybrid schedule or performed 100% remotely within the United States. Summary: Innovative Renal Care (IRC) is seeking an Associate General Counsel to provide legal support across IRC and its affiliated entities. This role supports a wide range of legal and regulatory matters while helping advance IRC’s mission of delivering superior patient care.
Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents Research and analyze legal and regulatory issues related to health law, contract law, corporate law, business law, employment law, and landlord‑tenant law Prepare and submit filings requiring state agency or administrative approval; coordinate with government officials to secure approvals Provide ongoing counsel and guidance on legal risks, compliance considerations, and business initiatives Support litigation strategy by reviewing facts, documents, and case details in collaboration with internal and external counsel Manage communications and engagements with outside counsel Partner with internal departments to ensure aligned, timely, and compliant execution of legal and operational priorities
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school Active admission to the state bar in the state where you reside 1–3 years of experience in a law firm or in‑house legal department required Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities Ability to prioritize and execute work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment
