• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in healthcare settings
• Strong understanding of medical record documentation, coding, and billing processes
• Proven ability to perform concurrent and retrospective medical record reviews
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
• Ability to analyze data, identify documentation gaps, and recommend improvements
• Knowledge of MS-DRG/APR-DRG and inpatient prospective payment systems

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Familiarity with healthcare quality metrics and compliance standards
• Experience working remotely in healthcare documentation or CDI roles
• Advanced certifications in medical documentation or coding (e.g., CCDS, CPC)

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Foreign or domestic Medical School Graduate (license not required)
• Graduate from a Physician’s Assistant or RN program
• At least 3 years of relevant clinical or documentation experience in a healthcare setting

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8 hours/day, remotely
• Proof of education at the time of submission
• Familiarity with healthcare payment systems and documentation best practices
• Willingness to participate in ongoing education and departmental initiatives
