Consent Decree Drafter

Work from home Full-time role Hiring

The Aurit Center for Divorce Mediation is hiring independent contractor Consent Decree Drafters. This is a unique opportunity for experienced Arizona family law paralegals who want to help families find a peaceful resolution. If you enjoy drafting and want to limit litigation work, this role offers a healthier way to work in family law. At The Aurit Center, we keep the process simple, confidential, and focused on agreement. We provide our drafters with well-organized mediation notes and clear templates. Your role is to prepare the first draft of:

  • Consent Decrees
  • Parenting Plans
  • Property Settlement Agreements

This role is entirely focused on drafting. There is no litigation, no motions practice, no court hearings, and no high-conflict attorney battles. You are simply helping turn mediated agreements into clear, professional final documents. This position is an excellent fit for someone looking for flexible independent contractor work alongside a positive, mission-driven team. Arizona family law experience is preferred. To learn more about joining our team, please send a direct message or email [email protected]. Profile:

  • Demographics: Experienced paralegals with a strong background in Arizona family law.
  • Psychographics: Professionals who genuinely enjoy drafting documents (such as Consent Decrees, Parenting Plans, and Property Settlement Agreements) but want to step away from litigation, motions practice, and court hearings. They are looking for flexible, independent contractor work alongside a positive, mission-driven team.
  • Emotional state: Likely feeling weighed down, stressed, or burned out by high-conflict attorney battles, and seeking a healthier, more peaceful work environment.
  • Search language (their words): Queries like "flexible paralegal work," "freelance family law drafter," "non-litigation legal jobs," or "remote Arizona paralegal".
  • Research behavior by stage:
  • Just thinking: Feeling overwhelmed by courtroom conflict and wondering if there is a less combative way to use their skills.
  • Actively researching: Browsing LinkedIn or job boards for remote, contract, or drafting-exclusive roles.
  • Ready to act: Reaching out via direct message or email for a low-pressure conversation to see if the role is a good fit.
