Description Educate Landlords and Property owners of Partnering with Nonprofit Everlast Life Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Dallas, TX, is launching a virtual education initiative to connect landlords, property owners, attorneys, and CPAs with the benefits of partnering with nonprofit organizations. Everlast Life Foundation empowers widows and orphans through faith-based programs in Job Training, Education, Shelter, Uplift, and Sustainability. We work with partners across industries to provide lasting community solutions through compassion and sustainable development. Project Overview This project is designed to educate real estate professionals and financial advisors about the strategic and moral value of partnering with nonprofits. Many landlords and advisors are unaware of the potential tax benefits, community impact, and business opportunities available through charitable housing partnerships. By hosting interactive virtual sessions, we aim to bring together professionals who can help us expand housing resources for those in need while improving the professional awareness of nonprofit–property collaborations. Educational Topics Include: Tax and legal benefits of donating or leasing property to nonprofit programs How to structure partnerships between property owners and nonprofits Case studies of successful community housing collaborations Ways attorneys and CPAs can advise clients to make socially responsible decisions Understanding nonprofit housing models and community incentives Who Should Join We welcome: Attorneys with real estate, tax, or nonprofit expertise Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) interested in social impact and advisory roles Landlords and property owners curious about nonprofit partnerships Community development professionals looking to expand their network Participants may attend as learners or guest presenters , depending on experience and interest. Volunteer Role Options Share insights on tax, legal, or property-related aspects of nonprofit partnerships. Participate in one 45–60 minute Zoom session. Help answer participant questions and provide real-world examples. 2. Educational Participant / Attendee Attend a Zoom session to learn how partnering with nonprofits benefits landlords and clients. Gain knowledge for professional growth and future collaborations. Ideal for: Property owners, financial professionals, or anyone curious about community partnerships Skills Requested Public Speaking or Workshop Facilitation Legal or Financial Expertise (CPA or Attorney) Community Outreach Communication and Networking Time Commitment Event Type: Virtual (Zoom) Frequency: Weekly or bi‑monthly (flexible participation) Location: Remote Impact By participating, volunteers will: Help landlords and advisors unlock charitable housing opportunities.
