Key Responsibilities

Patient Experience & Communication

Prescription Management & Verification

  • Enter prescription data accurately into the careerzynith pharmacy system, ensuring correct drug name, dosage, quantity, and patient information.
  • Perform pharmacy technician duties including compounding, medication verification, and drug utilization reviews in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Conduct thorough medication reconciliations, checking for drug interactions, contraindications, and patient allergies.
  • Maintain compliance with the Controlled Substances Distribution Policy, ensuring proper handling, documentation, and reporting of Schedule II‑V medications.

Operational Excellence & Process Improvement

  • Support the pharmacy manager in optimizing workflow, delegating tasks, and planning shift coverage to maximize efficiency.
  • Monitor and update inventory levels, assist with ordering, and help reduce waste through accurate dispensing and audit processes.
  • Stay current on pharmacy technology advancements, suggesting enhancements that improve speed, accuracy, and patient satisfaction.
  • Execute virtual audits by following detailed standard operating procedures, ensuring consistent adherence to careerzynith policies.

Collaboration & Community Relations

  • Build and nurture relationships with local healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and home‑health agencies, to facilitate seamless patient care.

Essential Qualifications
