Experienced Call Center Customer Service Representative – Compliance Services

We're now seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Call Center Customer Service Representative to join our West Coast team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

As a Call Center Customer Service Representative at careerzynith, you will be responsible for:

  • Staffing the phones for the duration of your shift and answering incoming and making outbound calls
  • Educating callers on 403(b) and 457(b) IRS guidelines and providing technical support and troubleshooting participant actions on the website
  • Inputting data into system platforms and keeping caller records updated
  • Maintaining customer satisfaction and meeting call center metrics based on assignments
  • Adhering to the schedule and regularly attending department and company meetings and training sessions
  • Other duties as assigned

Key Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Prior experience in a call center or high-volume customer service environment
  • Experience in pension/retirement and/or benefits administration a plus
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate 403(b)/457(b) IRS guidelines, policies, and procedures to participants with varying degrees of education
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Ability to understand and calculate mathematical concepts of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division – especially confirming payroll deductions for the participant
  • Ability to sit for extended periods, talk, listen, walk, grasp, type, and perform data entry

Work Environment:

As a remote Call Center Customer Service Representative, you will work independently under minimal supervision in a fast-paced, demanding environment. You will interact with plan participants, plan sponsors, financial advisors, and administration through calls or emails, in addition to interactions with internal company staff. You must be available to work 8:00 am-5 pm, Monday through Friday.
