Job Summary
As a Data Entry Specialist at careerzynith, you'll play a critical role in helping us transfer large amounts of data into our new database system and update current database files. Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
* Recording, reporting, and ensuring multiple types of data are input into the proper database cells
* Entering information in a work order and document control system, along with completing manual forms as needed
* Possessing a thorough understanding of the document control and record files
* Receiving incoming and outgoing materials
* Transferring confidential records and documents from one software program to another
* Knowledge of photocopying and scanning
* Excellent communication skills
* Comfortable working with a team environment
* Staying on timeline and understanding deadlines
* Coordinating other activities with plant supervisors/maintenance and other personnel to optimize performance of the database
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A high school diploma or GED
* Previous experience in data entry or a related field
* Ability to read and write effective reports and business correspondence using standard Microsoft Office products
* Must be able to lift 50 pounds, move from place to place in all areas of production, and climb ladders or platforms while wearing all safety and production-related equipment
* Previous experience operating computers and using database technology
