  • *What You'll Do**

As a Full-Time Remote American Airlines Customer Care Agent, you will be the voice of American Airlines, providing essential support and guidance to passengers through various digital and telephonic channels. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • World-Class Customer Support**: Answer inbound calls and engage with customers through other communication channels (e.g., chat, email) to provide prompt, professional, and empathetic assistance.
  • Reservation & Ticketing Expertise**: Assist customers with new flight bookings, modify existing reservations, process cancellations, rebook passengers during irregular operations (e.g., delays, cancellations), and handle ticketing/re-ticketing inquiries.
  • Travel Planning & Inquiries**: Provide comprehensive information on flight schedules, fares, baggage policies, travel requirements, airport procedures, and available services.
  • Loyalty Program Support**: Assist AAdvantage members with inquiries related to mileage accrual, redemption, account management, and program benefits.
  • Problem Resolution**: Skillfully listen to customer concerns, identify root causes of issues (e.g., missed connections, service discrepancies), and provide effective, compassionate solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Policy & Procedure Adherence**: Accurately apply American Airlines policies, procedures, and governmental regulations to all customer interactions and transactions.
  • Accurate Documentation**: Meticulously document all customer interactions, inquiries, issues, and resolutions within American Airlines' reservation and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Service Recovery**: Actively participate in service recovery efforts, turning potentially negative experiences into positive ones through exceptional care and proactive problem-solving.
  • Continuous Learning**: Stay current with all American Airlines product updates, service enhancements, policy changes, and system functionalities through ongoing training and self-study.
