Job Summary

As a Full Stack Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service, resolving complex billing and service-related issues, and driving business growth. You will work closely with our customers, internal teams, and external partners to deliver exceptional service, resolve issues efficiently, and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities

* Process billing calls, investigate meter read and other requests relating to billing accuracy or payment

  • Handle emergency calls, resolving complex issues and providing timely solutions
  • Process customer move-ins, adds, and transfers, ensuring seamless service delivery
  • Process refunds, compensation requests, and changes to accounts, maintaining accurate records and resolving issues efficiently
  • Route escalated customer issues for resolution, collaborating with internal teams and external partners as needed
  • Make referrals and process requests regarding special programs, such as Energy Assistance, CRISIS, Dollar Energy, or other programs, as necessary
  • Process order inquiry calls, initiate service orders, and provide service order status updates, ensuring timely and accurate communication
  • Assist customers with credit/payment arrangements, providing personalized support and guidance
  • Direct customers to the appropriate self-service channels, ensuring seamless service delivery and minimizing call volumes
  • Meet individual deadlines, metrics, and team goals, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency
  • Multi-task while effectively focusing on priority issues, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of complex issues

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • One (1) year of customer service experience, with a strong focus on resolving complex issues and driving business growth
  • Computer skills, including navigating multiple tabs, windows, and systems
  • Ability to type a minimum of 25 WPM (Word Per Minute)
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear and concise communication
  • For bilingual candidates, must take bilingual aptitude test (Spanish), possess solid written skills in English and Spanish, and speak fluent English and Spanish

Preferred Qualifications

* 2-3 years of call center and/or customer service experience, with a strong focus on resolving complex issues and driving business growth

  • 2-5 years of previous customer service work from home experience, with a strong focus on productivity and efficiency
  • Utility experience, with a strong understanding of billing and service-related issues
  • Advanced computer skills, including navigating multiple tabs, windows, and systems
  • Ability to type 60-65 WPM (Words Per Minute)

Work Environment and Culture

As a remote customer service representative, you will work from the comfort of your own home, with the flexibility to manage your schedule and work environment. However, you will be required to maintain high-speed wired internet access (75mpbs download and 15mpbs upload) that is hardwired, with a secure and private workspace that includes a non-disruptive work environment from others in the household. You will also be required to have a smart phone to download a VPN app on your personal device.
