Job Summary

As a Part-Time Remote Data Entry Representative, you'll play a vital role in supporting our patient financial solutions team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing general clerical and administrative office duties to support the efficient operation of our patient financial solutions team
  • Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of patient and account data entry
  • Responding to queries for information and accessing relevant files to support our hospital partners, patients, attorneys, and other agencies working with our patient population
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines
  • Performing other duties as assigned to support the success of our team

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Type a minimum of 45 words per minute

  • 10-key by touch
  • Insert patient and account data by inputting text-based and numerical information from hospital systems into our internal accounting system
  • Edit and/or create PDF files or Excel files as needed
  • Respond to queries for information and access relevant files to support our hospital partners, patients, attorneys, and other agencies working with our patient population
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of our team

Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and requirements:

  • High school diploma required
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, Windows, and Exchange email required
  • Excellent customer service skills, including friendly, courteous, and helpful communication
  • Ability to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally, as well as to interact in a professional manner with colleagues, patients, public, and client staff members
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Remote and hybrid positions require a home internet connection that meets our upload and download speed criteria

Compensation

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, location, specialty, and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
