Overview
We’re a fast-growing DTC food brand (Giordano’s Chicago deep dish pizza) looking for a skilled food photographer to shoot high-quality product imagery for use across: Website (PDPs, landing pages) Paid ads (Meta) Email/SMS marketing We’re looking for compelling, appetizing, high-converting food photography that makes people want to buy. We will ship you our product, and you will be responsible for prepping and styling the food for shoots in your own setup. (Simple prep: bake the pizza from frozen in an oven) Scope of Work - Receive frozen pizzas shipped to you - Properly prepare (oven bake) and style the product - Shoot: Hero product images (clean, high-conversion); Close-ups (cheese pull, texture, crust); Simple lifestyle/context shots - Deliver: High-res edited images + Cropped/optimized versions for web + ads Occasional light video capture (optional but a plus) What We’re Looking For Proven food photography experience (must-have) Strong portfolio showing: Melt, texture, lighting, and composition Ability to make food feel craveable and real Ability to self-style and prep food Ability to incorporate everyday lifestyle elements into shots Examples: kitchen counters, dining tables, casual at-home settings Should feel natural and relatable, not overly staged or editorial Clean, modern aesthetic that balances: High-quality product focus With real-life context and warmth Reliable turnaround times
