Full Stack Engineer with Java/GCP - REMOTE What the job looks like: We are looking for a full-stack engineer with strong application design and development skills. In this role, you must possess excellent problem-solving skills and deep technical knowledge with a strong aptitude for appreciating the focus, scope, and impact of your work in a much wider and forward-looking software landscape. You should also be able to demonstrate a history of technical leadership, excellent communication, and a positive attitude. You'll be part of a multi-disciplinary, agile application development team tasked with operating and enhancing an enterprise government system. - 5+ years of engineering experience
- BS (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field
- Self-motivated with strong communication skills
- Passion for learning new technologies and the ability to do so quickly
- Ability to write high-quality code efficiently
- At least five years of Java Development experience
- At least two years of Google Cloud Platform work experience
- Test-Driven Development
- Agile Development and Mindset
- Typescript/JavaScript development experience
- Developing Restful JSON APIs
- Experience with SQL
- At least two years of Google Cloud Platform work experience
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Codex, Copilot) to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
Nice to have:
- DevOps experience
- Experience with CSS
- Angular
- Shifting testing left
- All aspects of full test automation
