  • Engage with potential clients through outside sales efforts, including retail sales and telemarketing campaigns, to promote health insurance products.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of client needs to recommend suitable insurance plans, emphasizing benefits administration and coverage options.
  • Negotiate terms and premiums with insurance providers to secure competitive rates and favorable policies for clients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by explaining policy details clearly, answering questions, and guiding clients through the enrollment process.
  • Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA privacy standards.
  • Develop marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones through multilingual communication channels when applicable.
  • Collaborate with carriers and internal teams to streamline benefits administration and enhance overall client satisfaction.

Skills

  • Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms for clients while maintaining professional integrity.
  • Strong analysis skills to assess client needs accurately and recommend appropriate coverage options.
  • Effective communication skills in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual) to serve diverse client populations.
  • Proficiency in sales administration tools, CRM systems, and marketing techniques to support outreach efforts.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and compliance during client interactions.
  • Customer service orientation with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and empathetically.
  • Familiarity with benefits administration processes and telemarketing strategies for lead generation.
