Role Description The Mail Operations Pharmacist 2 will report to a supervisor in the department and is responsible for the accurate dispensing of prescribed medication to patients. The Mail Operations Pharmacist 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. The Mail Operations Pharmacist ensures adherence to quality assurance standards, accurate tracking techniques and a review process prior to shipping medications to patients. As a member of the team, you will:

  • Exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Qualifications

  • You are required to have a Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
  • You are required to be actively licensed as a Pharmacist in Arizona, Florida, Ohio or Texas without disciplinary action.
  • You must have a minimum three (3) years of experience as a Registered Pharmacist in a high-volume retail, community, or traditional mail order pharmacy practice environment.
  • You must have the ability to participate in Federal prescription programs.
  • You are required to be proficient with computers such as MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Zoom, SharePoint and troubleshoot and resolve general technical difficulties such as your home internet/modem.

Requirements

  • PharmD (Preferred)
  • Bilingual in both English and Spanish - You will be required to pass a language assessment.

Workstyle

  • Remote Work at Home.
  • Must reside and work in Florida, Arizona, Texas, or Ohio.
  • The schedule will be set between 8am-8pm EST Monday-Friday and 8:00 am-4:30 pm EST Saturday.
  • Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.
  • Mandatory Overtime may be required if business need arises but will not exceed 10 hours per week.

Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $104,000 - $143,000 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based upon company and/or individual performance. Work from Home Guidance

  • Self-provided internet service must meet a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
  • Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.
  • Employees who live and work from Home in California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
  • Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
