In Home ABA Therapist - Bachelor's Degree Required
Action Behavior Centers provides applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy at home for children ages 18 months to 13 years diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) [https://www.actionbehavior.com/resource/about-autism?utm_source=chatgpt.com]. Our in-home ABA services bring therapy directly into a child’s familiar environment to make learning meaningful, personalized, and engaging. JOB DESCRIPTION
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, daytime hours (8am-5pm) *May volunteer for an occasional Saturday based on patient needs
- Position is full-time
- Location: North Austin, TX, Killeen, TX

Pay (determined by education and ABA experience)
- Bachelor’s Degree: $20.00 – $25.50 per hour
- Master’s Degree: $22.00 – $27.00 per hour
- Fun Fact: You will receive your first raise after obtaining your RBT certification! Most new hires complete this in about three weeks.
What You’ll be Doing:
- Work one-on-one with children aged 18 months to 12 years old using play-based ABA therapy
- Travel to clients’ homes to provide care in comfortable, familiar environments, with the ability to drive up to 45 minutes each way as needed.
- Work autonomously to manage your caseload, taking ownership of your work while using your clinical expertise to support children’s growth and development.
- Follow personalized treatment plans, collect simple data, and communicate with your team
- Help kids learn through play, movement, reading, games, and hands-on activities
- Stay active during sessions, moving constantly to stay engaged with children
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe therapy space

- Drive your personal vehicle to patient appointments. Arrive promptly and ready to work. Focus entirely on your patient during direct therapy sessions.
Job Requirements:
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma
- Lift up to 30lbs
- Sit, stand, crouch, squat, and move quickly with young children
- Get on and off the floor frequently
- Maintain an active pace throughout the day
- Keep therapy spaces clean, organized, and safe
- Consistent attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire
- Commitment to ABC’s core value of team; may occasionally help support a nearby sister clinic if that center is experiencing a need for coverage
