Position Title: ITN Manager Location: Remote work based in Michigan with occasional travel within the state Class: Full time Schedule: Monday - Friday Salary Range: $56,176-$61,794Exempt or Non-Exempt: Exempt Position Summary: The Infant Toddler Network (ITN) Manager is responsible for overseeing the professional development, mentorship, and guidance of Infant Toddler Network Specialists. This role ensures effective collaboration across the Infant Toddler Network and supports the needs of professionals working with infants and toddlers in early childhood settings. The ITN Manager reports directly to the Senior Director of Programs and works closely with statewide Infant Toddler Network Leads and Resource Center Infant Toddler Specialists (ITS). Day-to-day, the ITN Manager will foster strong relationships, provide oversight to network activities, and contribute to the growth of early childhood professionals. Key Responsibilities: Provide oversight, mentorship, and professional development for Infant Toddler Network Specialists. Collaborate with Infant Toddler Network Leads and Infant Toddler Specialists (ITS) to align efforts across Resource Centers statewide. Build and maintain strong relationships with early childhood professionals and stakeholders. Ensure support systems address the needs of professionals working with infants and toddlers in early childhood settings. Facilitate communication and guidance to ensure the network operates efficiently and effectively. Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of resources and training for infant and toddler care professionals. This role is ideal for a proactive and empathetic leader with a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to supporting professionals dedicated to the care and development of infants and toddlers. RequirementsDuties and Responsibilities: Cultivate and manage trusting, collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Provide leadership, technical assistance and consultation. Collaborate and plan goals with the Infant/Toddler Specialist Lead. Coordinate recruitment efforts. Creates, produces, and delivers a range of promotional, educational and informational presentations and/or resource materials. Stay abreast of emerging trends, best practices and research. Meet regularly with supervisor, Resource Center Director's, other ECIC colleagues to provide updates, discuss issues and challenges. Collaborates with community partners to create strategies to support the networks. Facilitate sessions and provide reflective practices. Participate in the Infant Toddler Leadership Team. Make recommendations for strengthening and improving implementation. Other responsibilities as assigned Requirements, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Bachelor's degree with three (3) years of experience in relevant field. 5-10 years' work experience, including at least two years in training, facilitation or consulting role. Experience working with early childhood professionals (e.g., training or technical assistance provider, teacher coach, or mentor) Some basic knowledge of Program for Infant Toddler Care (PITC) Six Essential Practices and Pyramid Model Training, preferred. Demonstrated commitment to racial equity. Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally both verbally and in writing. Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail while managing multiple tasks, projects, and timelines. Knowledge of best practices in early childhood care and learning, specifically with infants and toddlers. Strong knowledge and/or experience effective coaching, mentoring, and adult learning strategies. Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. Creative, resourceful and forward thinking. Ability to partner with racially and ethnically diverse colleagues and community members. Ability to use data and analytical skills to proactively identify opportunities, set priorities, and solve problems. Ability to facilitate, organize, oversee and monitor learning cohorts, meetings and COPs. Detail oriented with a multi-tasking aptitude. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Proficient in distance learning technologies including conference calls, online meetings, and webinars. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe and web-based applications. Possession of a valid driver's license and vehicle or other ability of travel throughout Michigan, including periodic overnight travel. Physical Requirements: Talking - Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to others accurately. (4-5 hours daily) Hearing - Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations sound. (4-5 hours daily) Walking - Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another. (1-2 hours daily) Standing - In one position, particularly for sustained periods of time. (1-2 hours daily) Visual Acuity - Viewing objects with close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; and/or extensive reading. (5-6 hours daily) Office Setting - Sedentary work in which exerting up to 10 pounds of force is occasional and a negligible amount of force is frequently or constantly used to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Work Location Remote work based in Michigan with occasional travel within the state or to other geographical areas for projects, ECIC meetings and to meet the needs of the organization.
