Interim Sr. Commercial Litigation Paralegal
Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group is seeking an Interim Sr. Commercial Litigation Paralegal for the next 4+ months, with conversion to permanent potential Overview: We are seeking an Interim Sr. Commercial Litigation Paralegal to assist with litigation discovery, subpoena responses, and records requests Company: Well-known global, publicly traded manufacturer. Experience: 5-8+ years of in-house and/or law firm experience with litigation discovery, responding to subpoenas, records requests, and litigation hold requests Location: Hybrid in Northeast Ohio preferred, or Remote
Responsibilities
Include: Working at the direction and discretion of the Client’s Legal Team, and specifically the VP, Assistant General Counsel, and the Senior Counsel, Labor and Employment, the Interim Sr. Commercial Litigation Paralegal shall: organize, track, cross-reference, review, redact, respond, record, and route different requests from cross-functional business lines and through Outside Counsel. Further, the Interim Sr. Commercial Litigation Paralegal shall:
- Communicate effectively internally and externally, with Outside Counsel, regarding discovery litigation hold requests, information requests, UCC Lien’s, and subpoena responses
- Follow the Client’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) guidelines in seeking litigation and/or labor and employment matters, from information gathering through question responses and coordination
- Take on additional ad-hoc requests from the Client’s Legal Team, as directed and as needed, including but not limited to personal injury, consumer, and bankruptcy claims
Qualifications
Include:
- BS/BA Degree, and significant paralegal experience, higher certifications and degrees are a plus
- 5-8+ years of in-house and/or law firm experience with litigation discovery, responding to subpoenas, records requests, and litigation hold requests
- 5-8+ years of experience organizing, tracking, cross-referencing, reviewing, redacting, responding, recording, and routing different requests from cross-functional business lines and Outside Counsel
- BONUS for:
- Experience with personal injury / consumer claims
- Experience with Bankruptcy
