Exempt, Grade 14 Sales Incentive Program (SIP) eligible Position Summary Solenis is seeking a driven Key Account Manager to manage and expand a portfolio of Industrial Water Treatment accounts, serving as a key partner to customers by delivering both technical expertise and commercial value. This individual will act as a primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring strong relationship management, reliable program performance, and sustained business growth across the territory.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and grow existing customer relationships Review and optimize treatment programs through routine monitoring and testing Provide strong on-site technical support for mill water systems, particularly on the water side of operations Deliver expertise across:Cooling systems Boiler systems Wastewater systems Power & recovery cycles and boiler water treatment programs in pulp & paper mills Conduct on-site training and engagement with customer plant personnel Develop and execute sales plans for new opportunities Manage account profitability (pricing, chemical usage, receivables) Drive safety improvements and process optimization at customer sites

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (technical preferred; experience may substitute) Minimum 3+ years of experience working in or supporting pulp and paper mills (required) Experience supporting or working with power & recovery systems and boiler water chemistry (required) Strong ability to provide hands-on water treatment technical support in a mill environment Strong relationship management and communication skills Ability to operate independently in a field-based environment We understand that candidates will not meet every single desired qualification.
