Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist - Psychiatric Emergency Response

City/State Virginia Beach, VA Work Shift Third (Nights) Overview: Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is now hiring a PRN Remote Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist. Must be located in Virginia. This position will be a part of the Psychiatric Emergency Response team that completes assessments for emergency department patients with mental health needs. Schedule: Seeking therapists who are able to work shifts on the weekends, at least 3 shifts per month. Education Master’s Degree – Social Work, Counseling, or other related field (Required) Certification/Licensure Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - (Required) Experience At least 1 years of outpatient or inpatient experience. (Preferred) Duties/Responsibilities Assesses the social, psychological, cultural, environmental, and financial situation, as well as disposition needs, for each assigned patient. Collaborates with patients, families, healthcare team members, and community agencies to develop and implement plans to address identified needs.
