Licensed Vocational Nurse (Home Health)
About the position Billet Health is seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) passionate about patient care to join our Home Health team. We provide home health care to geriatric patients over a 9-week episode. As an LVN, you will assess patient needs, collaborate with the RN case manager and Director of Nursing to ensure quality care, and be prepared to travel and be available to patients as needed. Our nurses have the freedom to build their own schedules, with visit assignments offered by our staffing team based on coverage needs. You set the pace for your caseload, with visit lengths typically between 45 to 60 minutes. Billet Health is Joint Co certified and prides itself on exceptional patient care. Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs.
- Work with RN case manager and Director of Nursing to ensure commitment to quality patient care.
- Travel to patients' homes or facilities.
- Provide home health care to geriatric patients.
- Conduct patient visits typically lasting 45 to 60 minutes.
Requirements
- Active LVN License in the state of practice
- Valid Driver License
- Valid Auto Insurance
- CPR or BLS Certification
- Valid TB Test (Skin test within the last year or x-ray within the last five years) Nice-to-haves
- Experience in Home Health
