The successful candidate: *Hours: must be available/flexible between 7:30AM-4:30PM MST (AZ time). Oncology experience highly preferred!* The New Patient Abstractor abstracts and summarizes new patient charts, serves as a point of contact for moderately complex charts, and working within pre-defined methods, tactics and procedures to impact department goals. The overall standard is accurate completion of new patient abstracts prior to the initial appointment and serving as a resource with in-depth and broad knowledge on patient charts. The New Patient Abstractor is expected to partner with Intake leadership to understand the department and corporate strategy and operating objectives. Position Qualifications: Minimum Education: High School Diploma Minimum Experience: minimum 2-3 years of experience in the medical field, preferably oncology.
