Podcast Audio Transcription Specialist – [Icelandic] (Remote, Freelance)

We are looking for a detail-oriented Podcast Audio Transcription Specialist fluent in Icelandic to convert podcast audio into accurate, well-formatted written transcripts. This role is ideal for someone with strong listening skills, excellent grammar, and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe podcast episodes from audio to text in Icelandic with high accuracy
- Ensure proper grammar, punctuation, and formatting throughout transcripts
- Identify speakers and structure dialogue clearly
- Edit and proofread transcripts for clarity and readability
- Meet turnaround times for assigned episodes
- Follow any provided style guides or formatting requirements Qualifications
- Fluency in Icelandic (native or near-native preferred)
- Strong command of grammar, spelling, and written communication in Icelandic
- Ability to understand different accents and varying audio quality
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Nice To Have

- Experience transcribing podcasts or media content
- Familiarity with transcription tools
