Your Opportunity, Your Team The Principal Engineer supports QVC and leads the design, evolution, and delivery of modern software platforms. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader with 15+ years of experience across UX, web applications, APIs, backend systems, databases, and mobile technologies. What You'll Do
Define and drive architecture for core platforms and strategic initiatives. Lead design of complex, scalable, business-critical systems. Evaluate tradeoffs across performance, scalability, security and maintainability. Guide modernization efforts, platform consolidation, and technology evolution. Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering to translate business needs into scalable solutions. Be a trusted technical advisor across web, UX, backend, and platform teams. Support platform interoperability and enterprise-wide technical consistency. Mentor engineers and technical leaders across the organization. Enhance engineering quality through code and architectural reviews.
