Procurement Analyst - SAP (Remote - Stratford, CT or Moorestown, NJ) We are looking for a Procurement Analyst for a global aerospace company. In this role, you will source, negotiate, and purchase machinery, equipment, tools, raw materials, packaging materials, parts, services, and/or supplies necessary for the operation of an organization. Compiles and analyzes statistical data to determine the feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives. Monitors the performance of suppliers. This is a 12-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week role (Mon-Thu 10 hours), and this is a remote role in Stratford, CT or Moorestown, NJ. This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Sources, negotiates and purchases machinery, equipment, tools, raw material, packaging materials, parts, services, and/or supplies necessary for operation of an organization.
- Compiles information to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes. Evaluate areas of opportunity to leverage material acquisitions.
- Tracks data to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes.
- Negotiates with suppliers and analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and to determine the lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.
- Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, follows up on orders placed, verifies delivery, approves payment and maintains necessary records.
- May prepare requests for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of Procurement/buying experience in defense or aerospace industry.
- SAP experience
- Self-starter with the ability to manage a high volume of purchase requirements, and supply chain-related tasks related to their assigned commodity/desk and associated purchase orders.
- Must be highly organized and customer service focused
- Bachelor's degree
- Looking for local candidates to Stratford, CT or Moorestown, NJ, for this is a full time telecommute position.
