[Remote] Business Development Representative (Remote)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Imply is a company focused on empowering organizations to achieve more with their data through innovative technology. They are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to grow the adoption of their product, Imply Lumi, by identifying and qualifying prospective customers.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting (email, LinkedIn, events, and target campaigns)
- Research heavily into accounts to maximize the value of outreach
- Qualify inbound leads and guide early-stage discovery conversations
- Educate prospects on the value of Imply Lumi use cases
- Partner with Account Executives to transition qualified opportunities and support deal progression
- Collaborate closely with Marketing to refine messaging and campaign targeting
- Maintain accurate activity & pipeline tracking in SFDC
- Continuously learn about the product, the landscape and SaaS industry trends
Skills
- Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and be self-motivated
- A passion for research as well as strong in-person, phone, and written customer communication skills
- Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Ability to make formal and informal presentations to staff and clients
- Ability to prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on the needs of the department or business goals
- Prior track record of achievement in positions with significant accountability
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce
- Experience working on observability or SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Datadog, New Relic, Cribl, etc
