Why This Role Matters

In today’s fast‑changing digital landscape, people in crisis increasingly turn to chat and text platforms for immediate help. As a Remote Chat & Text Specialist at careerzynith, you will be at the front line of that digital safety net, providing timely, empathetic, and professional support to callers in moments of acute distress. Your work will directly influence the quality of care, the effectiveness of our programs, and ultimately, the lives saved.

Position Overview

This full‑time, work‑from‑home role blends direct client interaction, clinical documentation, team supervision, and continuous quality improvement. You will answer chat and text inquiries, assess clinical needs, coordinate referrals, and ensure that all documentation meets funder and regulatory standards. Additionally, you will supervise remote clinical staff, contribute to program development, and participate in cross‑departmental initiatives that enhance careerzynith’s service delivery.

Core Responsibilities

  • Client Interaction: Respond to all incoming chat and text messages promptly, maintaining a professional tone that aligns with careerzynith’s standards of care.
  • Clinical Assessment: Conduct rapid yet thorough assessments of each client’s mental health status, risk level, and immediate needs.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the program’s service delivery, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Complete comprehensive clinical notes, ensuring accuracy for data collection, funder reporting, and internal audits.
  • Referral Management: Forward internal referrals to the appropriate careerzynith programs with all required information in a timely manner.
  • Suicide Watch Oversight: Track call‑in times for clients placed on a 72‑hour suicide watch or safety follow‑up, and remain available beyond scheduled shifts when crises arise.
  • Team Supervision: Directly supervise remote clinical staff, providing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
  • Training & Development: Deliver instruction and mentorship to interns and new hires, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Committee Participation: Actively engage in ad‑hoc committees, work groups, and quality improvement projects as assigned by management.
  • Compliance & Ethics: Uphold careerzynith’s policies, standards of care, and ethical guidelines; ensure staff compliance with all procedural requirements.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments to guarantee seamless continuity of care for each client.
  • Flexibility: Provide at least 40 hours of service per week, including occasional evenings, nights, and weekends to meet operational needs.
