[Remote] D365 FO Finance Functional Consultant
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Marconi Associates is seeking a Senior Finance Consultant to take ownership of end-to-end D365 Finance engagements. The role involves leading Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance implementations, acting as a trusted adviser to finance leaders, and delivering functional expertise across various finance modules.
Responsibilities
- Leading full life cycle Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance implementations and upgrade projects
- Acting as a trusted adviser to finance leaders and executive stakeholders (CFO and down)
- Gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable D365 Finance solutions
- Facilitating workshops, business process reviews, and solution design sessions
- Delivering functional expertise across finance modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets , Budgeting, Project Accounting , Cash & Bank Management, and Landed Cost
- Managing solution configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support activities
- Supporting multi-company and multi-currency implementations within complex enterprise environments
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- Approximately 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations
- Strong functional knowledge across core finance and accounting processes
- Experience leading multiple D365 Finance implementations, enhancements, or transformation programmes
- Background in consulting, or previous experience in positions such as Finance Director, Controller, ERP Manager, or similar
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform solutions, Power BI, and integrated third-party applications
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leadership teams
- Ability to work effectively within remote and geographically dispersed teams
- Willingness to travel 10-20%
