[Remote] HR Recruiter – Remote

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Symetra is seeking an HR Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team! In this role, you’ll play a key role in helping teams grow by finding and hiring great talent, collaborating with hiring managers to understand their needs and ensuring a smooth experience for candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruiting strategies
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle—from sourcing and interviewing to offer and onboarding
  • Guide managers through the interview process and help them identify the best talent
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment cycle
  • Other duties and projects as requested

Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in recruiting, HR, or transferable experience from a related field
  • Ability to understand client needs and apply strategic, tailored recommendations that drive results
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively across stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain structure in a fast-paced environment
  • A collaborative mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, leverage networks, and source top talent or resources effectively
  • Openness to feedback and a proactive approach to learning and adapting in a dynamic environment
  • High level of accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of work, ensuring quality and consistency
  • High School Diploma required
  • Minimum Internet Speed: 100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload, in alignment with the FCC's definition of 'broadband.'
  • Internet Type: Fiber, Cable (e.g., Comcast, Spectrum), or DSL
  • Not Permissible: Satellite (e.g., Starlink), cellular broadband (hotspot or otherwise), any other wireless technology, or wired dial-up
  • Employer work visa sponsorship and support are not provided for this role. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at hire and must maintain authorization to work in the United States throughout their employment with our company
