[Remote] Product Marketing Manager – Next.js & Modern Web

Work from home Full-time role Hiring

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Pantheon is a WebOps Platform that powers numerous websites for clients like Google and Doctors Without Borders. They are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to bridge product teams and the market, focusing on go-to-market strategies and execution for Next.js hosting and modern frontend capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand our target buyers — with a focus on JavaScript developers, frontend engineers, and digital agencies building on Next.js — and own the ongoing development of buyer personas and ICP definitions (including pain points, decision-making criteria, and "jobs to be done"). You'll build directly on existing persona and ICP work already underway
  • Conduct focused, tactical competitive research on the Next.js hosting and modern web deployment landscape — with a sharp eye on Vercel, Netlify, and self-hosted alternatives — and track competitor messaging shifts
  • Own the creation and maintenance of internal competitive deliverables, such as battlecards, teardowns, and comparison guides, ensuring Sales and Marketing are equipped to win against key competitors in the Next.js space
  • Own the tactical creation of clear, concise messaging that translates Next.js-specific capabilities — managed infrastructure, multidev environments, CMS integrations, and enterprise-grade operations — into quantifiable customer benefits and compelling value propositions
  • Create and maintain high-impact core product content, including website copy, Next.js feature pages, data sheets, and customer case studies, ensuring messaging clarity and accuracy across all platforms
  • Drive and coordinate cross-functional activities (Sales, Marketing, CS) that accelerate Next.js adoption post-GA — including SDR enablement kits, CSM outreach playbooks, and ongoing campaign support
  • Support demand-gen and awareness programs such as LinkedIn Live sessions, developer-focused events, and content series that showcase Pantheon's Next.js capabilities in action
  • Monitor adoption and usage metrics, providing actionable feedback to Product and Sales teams
  • Partner closely with Sales and SDR teams to develop and maintain high-impact tactical assets — email sequences, talk tracks, objection handlers, FAQ docs, demo presentations, and customer case studies — that equip every customer-facing teammate to sell Next.js confidently
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team to build outreach playbooks and lifecycle content that drive Next.js adoption and expansion among existing customers
  • Work closely with Product Management to review Next.js feature functionality and ensure a clear, market-ready articulation of all new capabilities

Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in Product Marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS, developer tools, or WebOps/hosting platforms
  • Working knowledge of Next.js, React, and the modern frontend ecosystem — enough to credibly engage developers, understand technical trade-offs, and translate them into market-facing narratives
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Demonstrated ability to execute multiple concurrent GTM programs and effectively translate complex technical concepts
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for translating technical specifications into clear, concise, and persuasive marketing copy
  • Highly collaborative and comfortable working across multiple teams, including technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience marketing products built on Drupal or WordPress, or in a headless/hybrid CMS context
  • Familiarity with JAMstack, edge infrastructure, or CDN concepts
  • Experience with developer-focused content programs (LinkedIn Live, webinars, technical blog series)
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Amplitude

Benefits

  • Industry competitive compensation and equity plan
  • Flexible time off, sick days, and 13 paid holidays
  • Comprehensive medical insurance including Health, Dental and Vision
  • Paid parental leave (plus fertility, adoption and other family planning benefits)
  • In-office workspace (San Francisco)
  • Monthly allowance for wellness, reading and access to LinkedIn Learning for continued development
  • Events and activities both team-based and company wide that inspire, educate and cultivate
  • This position also offers a performance bonus based on company performance
