Remote School Physical Therapist - ID
A contract opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist specializing in telehealth services within a virtual school setting in Caldwell, ID. This position supports students in grades 7-12 who attend school remotely, emphasizing therapeutic interventions tailored to diverse student needs. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing physical therapy services through telehealth modalities to students in a virtual school environment.
- Developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Collaborating closely with families and guardians to facilitate effective virtual service delivery and promote student progress.
- Participating actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing to comprehensive student evaluations and plans.
- Completing all necessary district onboarding procedures, including fingerprinting.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- National Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.
- Extensive experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in educational settings.
- Proven ability to educate and collaborate with families and guardians as partners in therapeutic interventions.
- Familiarity with IEP processes and multidisciplinary team collaboration.
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently with approximately 30 hours per week commitment, with potential for additional hours as caseload increases.
This assignment runs from August 17, 2026, through May 25, 2027. Candidates selected will undergo standard district onboarding procedures to ensure compliance with state regulations and policies.
