[Remote] Senior Piping Designer - Remote (LSNA)

They are seeking a Senior Piping Designer to work on projects that enable the heart of their clients’ business, with responsibilities including overseeing design tasks, project performance evaluations, and mentoring team members.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for assisting with the drafting/design effort on projects under supervision of Department Manager and leading a group of designers on small/large capital projects
- Ability to perform project metrics/evaluations on performance goals/schedule goals within a specific project or tasks
- Gathers information, makes studies, performs calculations, and prepares original rough layouts and sketches to present design proposal
Skills
- Associate's degree (AA) in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or similar technical degree preferable; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
- At least 8+ years of piping design experience
- Advanced working knowledge of piping design in 2D/3D modeling software such as AutoCad, Revit, Plant3D, SmartPlant 3D, Naviswork and Revizto
- Interacts with internal and client personnel
- Site work and periodic travel required
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
