Overview
The Analyst will support requirements gathering, business process analysis, system documentation, testing coordination, and stakeholder communication for the MicroTower and Overwatch modernization program.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Analyze existing systems and support modernization assessments.
- Develop use cases, process flows, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Coordinate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
- Support testing, validation, and user acceptance activities.
- Track project requirements, risks, and change requests.
- Prepare project documentation, reports, and status updates.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of business analysis or technical analysis experience.
- Experience documenting requirements for software or technology projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Familiarity with APIs, databases, and system integrations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Aviation, transportation, or operational technology experience.
- Knowledge of embedded systems, communications platforms, or cloud applications.
- Experience supporting modernization and digital transformation projects
Preferred Candidate Background
- Candidates with aviation experience are strongly preferred. Examples include:
- Private Pilot License (PPL) or higher certification.
- Experience supporting aviation technology platforms.
- Familiarity with aviation communications, weather systems, flight operations, or airfield systems.
- While aviation experience is highly desirable, it is not a mandatory requirement.
