SaaS Administrator - Google Workspace

Title: SaaS Administrator - Google Workspace Location : Remote, US Target Start Date : 5/11/26 Type: (C, CTH, D) C Pay Rate / Salary (Ranges OK) : $55/hr We are seeking a highly disciplined SaaS Administrator to manage and govern a portfolio of collaboration and productivity platforms operating within or adjacent to a FedRAMP boundary. This role is focused on administration, access control, and compliance, ensuring tools such as Zoom, Slack, Monday.com, and the Google Workspace environment are configured, secured, and audit-ready.

Responsibilities

SaaS Platform Administration

• Administer and maintain collaboration tools (Zoom, Slack, Monday.com, Google Workspace apps)
• Manage tenant configurations, user roles, permissions, and account structures
• Standardize configurations and enforce consistency across platforms
• Maintain clear separation of systems operating within the FedRAMP boundary

Google Workspace Administration (Environment-Level)

• Administer the Google Workspace environment (users, groups, OUs, policies)
• Manage access controls, sharing settings, and organizational structure
• Configure security policies (MFA, context-aware access, session controls)
• Oversee Workspace governance (Drive sharing policies, group controls, admin roles)
• Support identity and SSO integrations tied to Workspace

Access Control & Identity Management

• Own user lifecycle management (joiner/mover/leaver) across all SaaS tools
• Enforce least-privilege and role-based access controls
• Integrate and manage SSO via IdP (Okta, Azure AD, etc.)
• Conduct periodic access reviews and certifications

Operational Support

• Provide Tier 2/3 support for access, permissions, and configuration issues
• Troubleshoot SSO, provisioning, and integration issues
• Support secure onboarding/offboarding workflows
• Enforce change control and maintain system integrity

Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years administering SaaS collaboration platforms (Slack, Zoom, Monday.com, etc.)
• Strong experience with Google Workspace administration (environment-level)
• Expertise in user provisioning, RBAC, and tenant-level controls
• Experience with SSO/IdP integrations (Okta, Azure AD)

Preferred:

• Exposure to FedRAMP environments or government-regulated systems
• Familiarity with NIST 800-53 or similar frameworks
• Experience managing multi-tool SaaS ecosystems under centralized governance.

• 80-90% administration, governance, and compliance
• Multi-platform SaaS ownership + Google Workspace environment oversight
• Critical role in maintaining a secure, audit-ready ecosystem within a FedRAMP boundary.
