Sales Engineer
Role: Sales Engineer Location: North West England Contract type: Full time, permanent Carrier now has an opportunity for a HVAC Sales Engineer based in the North West area. You will be responsible for driving sales growth of HVAC products and solutions, combining engineering knowledge with customer-facing sales activities. You will work closely with contractors, consultants, and end-users to design and recommend systems that meet client needs. What will I be doing as a Sales Engineer? Identify and develop new business opportunities within the HVAC sector and grow the sales in conjunction with our direct sales teams. Build and maintain relationships primarily with contractors but also engage with consultants and end users. Assist clients with system design and troubleshooting Target and identify new/potential direct account customers (End User’s, Public Bodies, Installers, M&E) &/or specification accounts (Consultants). Collaborate with vertical and key accounts teams, order management teams and project managers for smooth project delivery. Offer pre-sales and post-sales technical support
Requirements
Technical knowledge of HVAC industry Strong sales background in HVAC dealing with associated installing contractors & M&E’s &/or specification consultants Strong understanding of HVAC design principles and equipment Competitor knowledge Ability to read technical drawings and specifications UK Driving Licence IT Literate with MS Office skills
