SECTOR - Test Lead

Location: Remote Canada Employment Type: Contract / Full-Time We are seeking an experienced QA Test Lead to support critical customer projects approaching UAT and Go-Live phases. The ideal candidate will lead quality assurance efforts, drive production readiness initiatives, and work closely with Agile implementation teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead test planning, test suite reviews, and quality assurance activities for customer implementations. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and End-to-End (E2E) testing efforts. Perform quality risk assessments and develop QA stabilization plans for projects nearing production. Review and refine existing test strategies, test plans, and test coverage. Coordinate production release validation and rapid issue triage activities. Identify and mitigate quality risks impacting project timelines and go-live readiness. Update and enhance UAT test plans, scripts, and execution processes as needed. Monitor project quality metrics and proactively address testing bottlenecks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful production deployments. Deliverables Production Readiness Test Strategy Standardized UAT Test Packs (test scripts, templates, execution approach) Risk Assessment and Mitigation Plans Lessons Learned and Quality Improvement Recommendations Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance. Proven experience leading UAT and End-to-End testing initiatives. Strong expertise in test planning, test strategy development, and defect management. Experience supporting Agile/Scrum delivery teams. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to assess quality risks and drive production readiness activities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Student Information Systems (SIS)/ERP platforms. Higher Education or Education domain experience. Experience supporting large-scale implementation or transformation projects.
