Silicon Ecosystem Partnerships Director

Work from home Full-time role Hiring

About the Job We are seeking a Silicon Ecosystem Partnerships Director to lead and expand our strategic partnerships across the semiconductor and AI infrastructure ecosystem. This role will be responsible for building deep relationships with key ecosystem partners, including foundries, ASIC providers, IP vendors, EDA companies, advanced packaging partners, and other relevant infrastructure technology partners. The ideal candidate will combine strong semiconductor industry knowledge, technical fluency, commercial judgment, and executive relationship management skills. This person will play a critical role in strengthening our supply chain resilience, accelerating product execution, supporting go-to-market initiatives, and positioning the company as a trusted partner across the global silicon ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Ecosystem Development Build and manage strategic relationships with semiconductor ecosystem partners, including foundries, ASIC design partners, IP providers, EDA vendors, advanced packaging providers, system partners, and infrastructure technology companies. Develop a clear ecosystem partnership strategy aligned with the company’s silicon roadmap, product milestones, commercial priorities, and long-term platform strategy. Identify partnership opportunities that can improve product execution, supply-chain resilience, technology differentiation, cost structure, and market credibility. Serve as a key external-facing representative for the company with senior executives across the semiconductor ecosystem. Foundry, ASIC, IP, and EDA Engagement Coordinate with engineering, operations, product, legal, and finance teams to align on technical requirements, commercial terms, program timelines, and partner deliverables. Support licensing and partnership discussions with IP and EDA vendors, ensuring alignment with product requirements, cost targets, and roadmap needs. Help evaluate partner capabilities across process technology, packaging, design services, verification, physical design, manufacturing readiness, and long-term support. Advanced Packaging and Supply Chain Partnerships Develop strategic relationships across advanced packaging, CoWoS/2.5D/3D integration, HBM, substrate, interposer, OSAT, and backend manufacturing ecosystems. Work closely with operations and engineering teams to identify risks and opportunities across the supply chain. Help secure partner support for capacity planning, cost transparency, technical enablement, and production readiness. Support cross-functional planning around manufacturability, yield improvement, cost optimization, and delivery timelines. Go-to-Market and Ecosystem Positioning Partner with business development, sales, marketing, and product teams to strengthen the company’s ecosystem narrative and market positioning. Support joint marketing activities, executive briefings, customer events, press releases, partner announcements, and industry events. Help position the company as a credible AI infrastructure player through strong ecosystem validation and partner engagement. Develop messaging and materials that highlight the company’s technology differentiation, production readiness, roadmap strength, and supply-chain resilience. Executive Relationship Management Build trusted relationships with senior executives and decision-makers at key ecosystem partners. Act as a single point of coordination for high-priority strategic partnerships where needed. Prepare executive briefing materials, partnership proposals, negotiation positions, and internal alignment documents. Represent the company in partner meetings, industry forums, executive briefings, and strategic negotiations. Cross-Functional Leadership Work closely with engineering, product, operations, finance, legal, sales, and marketing teams to drive internal alignment on partner strategy and execution. Translate technical and business requirements into actionable partnership plans. Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies across the silicon roadmap and work proactively to resolve them through ecosystem engagement. Provide regular updates to senior leadership on partnership progress, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions. Minimum Qualifications 10+ years of experience in semiconductor, AI infrastructure, silicon partnerships, business development, strategic alliances, product management, or related roles. Strong understanding of the semiconductor ecosystem, including foundry, ASIC design, IP, EDA, advanced packaging, memory, substrate, OSAT, and system-level partners. Experience working with senior executives and cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, legal, finance, sales, and marketing. Strong commercial and negotiation skills, including experience with partnership structures, licensing models, supply agreements, and joint development discussions. Technical fluency in areas such as AI accelerators, SoCs, chiplets, advanced nodes, packaging, HBM, PCIe, Ethernet, and data center infrastructure. Proven ability to build trust with external partners and drive complex, multi-party initiatives. Excellent communication, presentation, and executive writing skills. Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and highly technical environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience at a semiconductor startup, AI infrastructure company, fabless semiconductor company, foundry, ASIC provider, IP vendor, EDA company, or system OEM/ODM. Familiarity with AI inference, hyperscale infrastructure, data center deployment, or high-performance computing markets. Experience supporting press releases, joint marketing, customer briefings, or ecosystem events. Existing relationships with senior stakeholders across the semiconductor supply chain.
