About This Role SpartanX is seeking a highly organized Solar Inspection Scheduler to support residential solar operations across active markets. This role is responsible for coordinating inspections, managing inspection timelines, and ensuring projects move efficiently through the final stages of installation and approval. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates professionally, and can effectively coordinate between homeowners, inspectors, AHJs, utility companies, and internal departments. This position plays a critical role in maintaining operational flow, minimizing inspection delays, and helping projects reach Permission to Operate (PTO) as efficiently as possible.

What You'll Do

  • Schedule residential solar inspections with AHJs and utility providers as required
  • Coordinate inspection appointments and communicate scheduling updates with homeowners
  • Work closely with permitting, installation, electrical, service, and operations teams to ensure projects are inspection-ready
  • Monitor inspection timelines and proactively identify scheduling conflicts or delays
  • Maintain communication with inspectors, municipalities, and AHJs regarding project status and inspection requirements
  • Coordinate reinspection appointments and correction timelines when necessary
  • Track inspection outcomes and maintain accurate records within company systems
  • Assist with obtaining inspection requirements from new AHJs and jurisdictions
  • Escalate operational concerns that may impact inspection success or project completion timelines
  • Maintain organized documentation and ensure inspection-related information is updated accurately and in real time

Qualifications

  • Previous solar scheduling, permitting, inspection coordination, or construction operations experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Professional communication skills with homeowners, inspectors, utility representatives, and internal teams
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative operations environment
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
  • Experience with CRMs, scheduling platforms, and operational software preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and coordination abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous residential solar experience
  • Experience working with AHJs, permitting offices, or utility providers
  • Familiarity with inspection workflows, permitting processes, and PTO requirements
  • Strong administrative and operational coordination experience
  • Experience managing high-volume scheduling environments
