THE ROLE: Perform: This role is part of Genius’ team that helps sports leagues and teams boost performance on and off the field using cutting-edge tech, analytics, and visual insights. As a Sports Data Operator. You’ll help power our live products by collecting and validating real-time tracking and play-by-play data using specialised in-house software. You’ll confirm teams, lineups, and players with precision; monitor events as they happen; and flag issues to Game Supervisors contributing feedback in post-game reviews so we continuously raise the bar on quality. This role is an entry-level position with a Service provider contract, remote position Colombia-based. WHAT YOU’LL BRING: Passion for sports with working knowledge of Basketball and Football (rules, lineups, gameplay). Exceptional attention to detail and an analytical mindset; high accuracy in live environments. Strong English communication and solid computer literacy; quick to learn specialised tools. Reliable, punctual, and self-directed, comfortable working with minimal supervision. Calm under pressure with excellent time management and multitasking during live games. Availability for flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (min. 10 hrs/week). Reliable high-speed internet (≥50 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload) and a suitable remote setup. IT WILL BE A BONUS IF YOU KNOW: Hands-on experience with sports data entry, play-by-play QA, or tracking systems. Prior work in live operations, game supervision, or quality assurance.
