Technical SEO Specialist / Technical SEO Manager

Work from home Full-time role Hiring

Technical SEO Specialist / Technical SEO Manager – AMPLIFY AMPLIFY is a boutique digital marketing agency that helps high-end law firms grow through stronger websites, better search visibility, content strategy, paid media, PR, and authority-building campaigns. We are looking for a highly capable Technical SEO Specialist who can help raise the standard of every website we build and manage. This role is responsible for making sure our law firm websites are technically sound, fast, crawlable, search-friendly, and built according to consistent SEO best practices. The ideal candidate understands how website structure, page speed, mobile performance, schema, internal linking, indexing, and content architecture all work together to improve organic visibility and lead generation. The Technical SEO Specialist will work closely with our development, content, and account teams to ensure that every site we launch meets AMPLIFY’s technical standards from the beginning — not after problems appear.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audit law firm websites for technical SEO issues, including crawlability, indexing, site architecture, mobile usability, page speed, broken links, redirects, duplicate content, metadata, schema, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Create clear technical SEO recommendations that developers can execute without confusion.
  • Work with the web development team to make sure new websites are built with SEO standards in place from the start.
  • Improve website speed, mobile performance, URL structure, heading structure, internal linking, sitemap setup, robots.txt, canonical tags, and schema markup.
  • Use tools like Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, PageSpeed Insights, and other SEO platforms to diagnose problems and monitor performance.
  • Help create repeatable SEO standards and checklists for all AMPLIFY website builds.
  • Review staging sites before launch to ensure they are properly optimized and free of technical issues.
  • Monitor existing client websites for technical errors, ranking drops, indexing problems, traffic issues, and performance opportunities.
  • Collaborate with content and strategy teams to make sure website architecture supports strong practice area pages, location pages, attorney pages, blog content, and conversion paths.

Translate technical SEO findings into plain-English explanations for internal teams and, when needed, clients. Ideal Candidate

  • Has strong experience with technical SEO, preferably for law firms, local service businesses, or lead-generation websites.
  • Understands WordPress, website structure, page builders, hosting environments, plugins, redirects, schema, and mobile-first SEO.
  • Can bridge the gap between developers and SEO strategy.
  • Knows how to prioritize technical fixes based on business impact, not just checklist items.
  • Is detail-oriented, organized, and able to create repeatable processes.
  • Understands that law firm websites are not just brochures — they are lead-generation assets that need to perform in search and convert visitors into inquiries.
  • Can explain SEO issues clearly without overcomplicating them.

What Success Looks Like

  • AMPLIFY websites launch faster, cleaner, and with fewer SEO problems.
  • Development and SEO teams follow one clear standard.
  • Client websites improve in crawlability, speed, indexing, rankings, and organic lead performance.
  • Technical SEO problems are caught before launch, not after.
  • Every site AMPLIFY builds reflects a higher level of quality, consistency, and search readiness.

About AMPLIFY AMPLIFY helps law firms build authority, visibility, and trust in a changing digital landscape. We combine website development, SEO, content, paid media, social media, PR, and earned media strategies to help law firms stand out online and attract better cases. This role is ideal for someone who wants to help modernize how law firm websites are built, optimized, and maintained. Related
