Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $1,638–$1,691 per week - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3x12) - Start date: 06/22/2026 - Location: Thomasville, NC; inpatient telemetry/med-surg unit - Travel - temporary assignment; locals accepted Responsibilities - Provide direct patient care for adult medical and post-surgical patients on a telemetry unit - Perform telemetry monitoring, rhythm recognition, and respond to rhythm changes and alarms - Establish and maintain IV access, IV starts, and peripheral line care - Administer non-titratable cardiac medications; assist with blood product administration as indicated - Collaborate with multidisciplinary team on care plans, discharge planning, and patient education; participate in daily rounds and SBAR communications - Document thoroughly in Epic; maintain compliance with unit and hospital policies; may be floated to similar units as needed Requirements - Licensure: RN licensure in North Carolina or a Compact license (pending OK for submittal) - Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience; telemetry experience preferred; first-time travelers only if EPIC experience - Certifications: BCLS/BLS required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred - Education: Standard RN education required (per RN practice), with ability to care for adult/geriatric populations - Skills: Telemetry monitoring and rhythm recognition; IV starts; basic post-surgical and medical care; ability to work in an inpatient telemetry setting - Other: Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required; pre-employment lab testing within 48 hours of signing; RTO up to 7 days auto-approved (no holidays during first week of assignment); RTO must be pre-approved; locals accepted Benefits and Support - Orientation and onboarding include a 12-hour unit orientation plus hospital orientation with daily classes - Pre-employment testing completed within 48 hours of signing - EPIC charting system experience preferred; SBAR communication for handoffs - Ongoing assignment support from a dedicated recruiter - Compliance and credentialing assistance to facilitate onboarding Find more opportunities To explore additional openings available at Healthforce Healthcare LLC, please visit https://healthforce.applytojob.com/apply PAY DISCLAIMER RULE: Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
