Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Marketing Specialist Department: Marketing Employment Type: Full Time Location: Austin, Texas Compensation: $80,000 - $85,000 / year Description Innovetive Petcare is seeking an experienced and strategic Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Marketing Manager to support our growing network of 12-15+ specialty and emergency veterinary hospitals across the United States. This remote marketing leadership role is ideal for a veterinary marketing professional with experience in specialty and emergency veterinary medicine, referral relationship management, healthcare marketing, and multi-location growth strategy. The individual in this role will partner closely with hospital leadership, field operations teams, referral coordinators, and centralized marketing partners to drive referral growth, increase case volume, strengthen brand visibility, and support local hospital success.   • Support referral coordinators and hospital administrators with marketing tools, resources, and local relationship-building initiatives
  • Collaborate with centralized marketing teams and agency partners on integrated multi-channel campaigns including:
  • Email marketing
  • Social media marketing
  • Digital advertising
  • Traditional and outdoor advertising
  • Brand awareness initiatives
  • Communicate ongoing marketing initiatives and support field teams with localized implementation
  • Coach hospital leaders and referral teams on best practices, onboarding, and execution of marketing programs
  • Monitor marketing performance, referral conversion trends, and hospital growth metrics to optimize strategy and ROI
  • Develop scalable veterinary marketing frameworks, SOPs, toolkits, trackers, and action plans across the specialty and emergency network
  • Identify marketing gaps, trends, and growth opportunities across hospitals and implement best practices
  • Maintain documented growth and referral development action plans aligned with hospital performance goals
  • Utilize project management tools such as Asana to track marketing initiatives, KPIs, timelines, accountability, and progress
  • Translate enterprise marketing strategies into localized, market-specific campaigns for individual hospitals
  • Support continuing education (CE) events for referring veterinarians
  • Coordinate referral appreciation events and local community activations
  • Assist with event promotion, outreach, attendance tracking, and ROI analysis
  • Strengthen hospital visibility and engagement within local veterinary communities
  • Partner with leadership teams to establish quarterly veterinary marketing priorities aligned with hospital growth objectives
  • Prioritize initiatives that support specialty, emergency, and referral service line expansion
  • Serve as a voice of the field by identifying barriers, insights, and opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness across the organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
  • 5-7+ years of marketing experience in veterinary healthcare, healthcare services, or multi-location organizations
  • Specialty and emergency veterinary marketing experience strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting referral-driven business models and relationship-based growth initiatives preferred
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced, self-directed environment
  • Ability to travel up to 30% for hospital visits, events, and field engagement
