Job Overview
We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Entry Specialist to join our Inbound Transportation team. This remote position plays a critical role in supporting the flow of goods from our vendors, ensuring that all routing requests are entered accurately and efficiently into our OMS. As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of systems, collaborate with transportation planning analysts, and contribute to the smooth operation of our shipment process.
Responsibilities
As a Junior Data Entry Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Accurately entering routing requests from our vendor booking system into OMS
- Organizing and assigning shipments to our carrier partners
- Setting up new user accounts in the vendor booking system
- Maintaining an organized file of shipment data to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Collaborating with transportation planning analysts to keep the shipment process running smoothly
- Following best practices for data management and maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 1 year of experience in data entry or a related field
- High school diploma or equivalent
