Product Manager, Buyer Experience - IAA

About the Role

RB Global / IAA is seeking an experienced Product Manager to own the end-to-end buyer experience within our digital automotive marketplace. This role focuses on helping customers search, evaluate, and purchase vehicles online through intuitive, data-driven product experiences. You will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Data, and Marketing to improve search, SEO, personalization, and merchandising capabilities. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical skills with a deep understanding of user behavior and online commerce. This is a high-impact role shaping the strategic direction of our buyer-facing marketplace. What You’ll Do Own and evolve the buyer journey across search, browse, and purchase experiences Use data, experimentation, and customer insights to drive product decisions Partner closely with Engineering, Design, and Marketing to deliver product improvements Build and execute a product roadmap aligned with RB Global growth objectives Leverage AI/ML to enhance search, recommendations, personalization, and merchandising Monitor product performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, experimentation platforms) Translate insights into clear product requirements, user stories, and backlogs Identify and prioritize opportunities that improve engagement and conversion Ensure high product quality by staying deeply involved in delivery and releases Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders Balance scope, priority, technical risk, and business impact across initiatives What Success Looks Like A clear, executed roadmap that drives buyer engagement and revenue Improved search and discovery performance Strong cross-functional alignment and predictable delivery Data-informed decisions that result in measurable business value A seamless and intuitive buyer experience Who You Are A strong advocate for the customer, balanced with business outcomes Comfortable operating in fast-changing environments Confident making decisions with minimal direction Skilled at influencing without authority Highly organized, accountable, and delivery-focused Analytical, pragmatic, and results-oriented

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 5+ years of Product Management or Product Development experience Experience owning customer-facing digital products (marketplace, eCommerce, or SaaS) Strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and design Strong written and verbal communication skills Working Relationships You will partner closely with: Engineering & Technology leaders Marketing Strategy Business stakeholders Customers and buyers for feedback and insights Travel Occasional travel required Why RB Global You’ll help shape the future of a large-scale digital marketplace used by buyers around the world.
