Remote Tax Manager Compensation $105,000 - $135,000 Location 100% Remote Requirements Active CPA + 5 years experience minimum Key Responsibilities
- Tax Compliance Oversee federal and state tax filings for S-Corps, C-Corps, Partnerships, and HNWIs.
- Technical Review Perform high-level review of complex returns and workpapers.
- Client Strategy Provide proactive tax planning and consulting to minimize liabilities.
- Team Leadership Mentor junior staff and manage workflow to meet all filing deadlines.
- Research Stay current on TCJA updates and evolving state/federal tax laws.
Qualifications
- License Active CPA license is required.
- Experience 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting.
- Tech Skills Proficiency in professional tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, UltraTax) and Excel.
- Communication Ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-technical clients.
