Senior Consultant (m/f/d) Data & AI Strategy

Work from home Full-time role Hiring

Who/What is Artefact? Artefact is a global consulting company specializing in data and AI services, headquartered in Paris. With 2,000+ consultants, data scientists, and engineers across 26 countries, we work with global market leaders. At our German offices, we are on a rapid growth trajectory, advising leading national and international clients cross-industry on how to unlock the full potential of their data, build scalable data architectures, and implement cutting-edge AI solutions. As a Senior Consultant (m/f/d) Data & AI Strategy, you will sit at the absolute center of this mission. You won't just deliver static slides; you will bridge the gap between technical possibilities and business imperatives, guiding clients from a focused 6-week engagement with a Mittelstand manufacturer to multi-phase AI transformations with large enterprises. In this role, you will take ownership of cross-functional workstreams, drive data-driven decision-making, and actively shape the digital future of our clients. What you will do: Client advisory & strategy: Work closely with (international) clients to understand their business needs and translate them into data-driven recommendations that support strategic decision-making and business transformation. Data & analysis: Collect, structure, and prepare data for analysis. Use tools such as Excel, SQL, and Python to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights, and communicate these clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Project delivery: Take ownership of project workstreams and ensure high-quality, timely delivery in alignment with overall project goals. Work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams across consulting, data, and tech functions. Data & AI solutions: Support the development of data strategies, AI use cases, and business intelligence solutions, contributing to governance frameworks and implementation roadmaps where relevant. Knowledge sharing & collaboration: Contribute to a strong team culture by sharing knowledge, staying up to date with digital and AI trends, and supporting continuous team development. Candidate Profile At our heart, we define ourselves by a culture of ownership, intellectual curiosity, and cooperation. We are looking for driven, capable, and prudent talents with a strong motivation and hunger for new challenges and opportunities to learn and grow. Experience: You have at least 2 years of experience in management/data consulting or in-house roles, with a proven track record of participating in data/AI strategy, cloud transformation, or applied AI/Machine Learning projects. Data & AI Fluency: You possess a strong affinity for data management and modern AI technologies. You are familiar with concepts like Generative AI, LLMs, or predictive analytics and are eager to bridge the gap between business needs and AI deployment. Ideally, you have hands-on experience in AI use case conceptualization or data platform tracking. Business & analytical mindset: You combine strong analytical skills with a business-oriented perspective. You enjoy identifying business problems and translating them into practical AI and data-driven solutions. Technical skills: You are confident using Excel and PowerPoint. Hands-on experience with statistical tools, BI software, or programming languages such as SQL, R, or Python to explore and prepare data is a strong plus. Communication & collaboration: You communicate complex technical topics clearly in both German and English. You enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams and collaborating across different levels and functions (e.g., translating requirements between business stakeholders and data scientists). Personal attributes: You are proactive, structured, and solution-oriented, with a strong client focus and stakeholder understanding. You thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy solving complex problems. Work Eligibility: A valid work permit for Germany. Why ARTEFACT? Impactful client work: Work on challenging projects with leading national and international clients across data, digitalisation, and advanced data strategy. Career growth opportunities: We believe in performance over tenure. Your growth is driven by your impact, not your length of service, with clear opportunities to progress and diverse career prospects. Competitive rewards: A strong compensation package including a performance-based bonus, which is paid out half-yearly. Learning & development: Join a team of passionate Data Consultants who actively support each other. You'll learn through diverse projects, collaboration, and exposure to leading experts in the field - including international work. Flexibility & time off: Unlimited home office and flexible working hours, 28 days of annual leave, plus additional time off for the festive season (Christmas & New Year's Eve off) and your birthday. Wellbeing & support: Mental health initiatives and modern tools to support your day-to-day work. Don't worry if you don't meet all the criteria! At Artefact, we value motivation, pragmatic problem-solving, and potential above all else. If you have the hunger for new challenges and a passion for driving the AI revolution, we'd love to hear from you. Diversity & Inclusion at Artefact > We believe that unique perspectives fuel innovation. At Artefact, we are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. We welcome and consider all applications purely based on merit, skills, and potential - regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, age, background, or disability. Come as you are! Ready to take the next step? Please submit your meaningful CV showcasing your experience and passion for this role as a Senior Consultant (m/f/d) Data & AI Strategy. We look forward to receiving your application!
